Hi there. It’s been a while but there really isn’t much to report. Well, I’m in Canada, for about a week now. Nothing reeeeaaaaalllyy has been happening. Well no, we bought a bed from Ikea and putting it together was a task.
*I helped by reading the instructions (:* So yea, we bought a bed aaaaaaaand last night we went to watch The Amazing Spiderman 2.
I was hearing a bunch of different stuff about the movie so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I honestly thought it was really good especially since I watched it in IMAX 🙂 *thanks Nick* I knew that Gwen had to die but it was still a shock when it happened and was sooo so sad to watch. I just want to see if they’re going to keep Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane for the next installment.
Apparently she’s not even sure if she’s gonna be doing it since she has the Divergent movies to work on. I’m not sure how I feel about her as Mary Jane because I keep comparing it to Kirsten Dunst.
But then I’m not even sure I like her has Mary Jane so I guess we’ll see how that goes. I think Shailene would be fine as Mary Jane cause she’s a pretty good actress so it all comes down to the direction the director takes with it.
Anyway, I’m in a bit of a pickle. Silly me only packed summer clothes to come to Montreal since it is summer and it was really warm the days before I left. Now its rainy and cold, down to 9 degrees Celsius yesterday and I only have one pair of long pants… not fun. I have a bunch of cute clothes that I would LOVE to wear but its all covered up because of the weather. It’s times like these that I miss the consistent weather of Barbados.
Book-wise, I’ve been reading over the Lux series since I’ve been having trouble finding another series to compare to that as well as Significance. In my head the story went a little different and followed the typical young adult fiction but it doesn’t which is probably why I liked it so much. Anyway, I’ll continue my search for a another good book series.
So before I left Brooklyn, I was having a tv binge session since it had been 4 months of no tv and no idea what was going on outside of Pace and what I saw on Twitter. I would be on the computer and have the music video channels on to catch up on some new music and I have fallen in love with the song Rude by a band called Magic!
They’re a Canadian band from Toronto and sing Reggae which is awesome. This is the link for the music video.

As soon as I heard them I instantly thought they would sound great doing a song with Cover Drive since they both have a Caribbean feel to Pop music.
I’ll cross my fingers and wait for that but I won’t hold my breath :(. So while here in Montreal I have given myself the task of finding somewhere that sells a really great caesar salad like the one I love from Wendy’s. So far I have tried the Salad from A&W and it was pretty good.
At first I thought there wasn’t enough chicken to last the salad but it did and it was a really good salad. I didn’t use the dressing cause I really don’t like dressing but it didn’t need it. Next on my list is the salad from Smart Burger.
Anyway, away I go to enjoy my last night before my online course starts 🙂
